At Edibleculture we have years of experience of knowing what grows where, the perfect planters for fruit, herbs, veg or even flowers..

So what makes a good planter? Its construction should be simple yet strong, it should be made to last and be treated with low emission preserve and really importantly it should use responsibly sourced material and made with as low a carbon foot print as possible.. that is, locally in Kent.

We are constantly developing new products and refining/improving older designs. Our range of vertical planters are meeting the demand from growers with smaller/urban gardens, they want to utilise all the space they have. Our planters are constructed with the support of Abbey school students, giving them a incite into how a business works and invaluable woodworking skills.

There is clear evidence that peoples well being improves if you grow your own. We do a lot of garden shows and our motto is ‘Claim Your Space ‘ be it roof, wall, pocket garden or even window sill.

Vertical Planter Crate Kit –  A brand new product designed to make the most of any wall of spare vertical space. It can act as a divide in a garden or even happily live in a conservatory. If you have a exposed balcony they can act as a useful wind break! As with anything we make it is free of harsh preservative chemicals so nothing leeches in to what could eat. It has a large base planter big enough to take soft fruit bushes and even a dwarfing fruit tree. A real hit at the 2016 Grow show it is a brilliant solution for growing in the smallest of spaces.
