Useful – It works, of a good quality and made to a standard we would want to use ourselves as gardeners. Forks and spades are a good example. Our forks and spades are UK made and we use them ourselves for planting projects. Not the cheapest, but potentially a tool for life.
Environmentally sound – Made as locally as possible, delivered to us with minimum packaging (we try) and not made from unsustainable woods and plastic.
For us to sell seeds and feeds for example we have gone to suppliers and bought in bulk. The product is then sold by weight in paper bags. We can then fully recycle the packaging sent to us by the manufacturer.
