Simple,
Plastic free,
Carbon offsetting.
For £5 a tree!
Treecover is our new not for profit project to help get more trees planted in the UK to tackle the climate emergency starting to impact on wildlife and the way we live now, like all our products we aim not to pass single use plastics on and we want to be able to get more trees planted without creating another problem. For decades plastic tree ties and plastic rabbit guards have been the only real option to support and defend newly planted trees.. things are changing. We are working with ezeetrees to get more trees protected with there unique guards, tested for years these guards mean plastic guards and ties which break down to microplastics are no longer needed.
The need is immediate to start planting millions of trees in the UK to offset the growing effects of this climate emergency. Treecover offers UK grown native trees, a plastic free tree guard and vitally, Mycorrhizal Fungi to bind the tree to the surrounding plants.
You can purchase or pledge a tree kit for only £5. You can give it as a gift or as something for yourself to plant. When you pledge a tree you can be assured that the tree will be planted in a school, controlled woodland setting or community space.
Treecover is a new project by Edibleculture, we have had years of experience advising on tree purchasing and list of clients that range from local authority, business sector to members of the public. We offer you the chance to offset carbon generating activities either as a individual or as a progressive business. Pledged trees will distributed to community projects, you will receive updates about how your trees are being gratefully used.
We are recognised as innovators within the horticultural industry and our aim is to invest monies generated back in to community projects including working with students and environmental groups. The aim is distribute around 10,000 tree kits in the first year, we already have spaces for a lot of trees, you can contact us for information on tree sizes and what is the best tree for the space you have. Our tree kits will be suitable for small gardens to very large open spaces.
